"All or Nothing" is a song recorded by American boy band O-Town. The pop ballad was written by Wayne Hector and Steve Mac, and produced by Mac. It was released on March 20, 2001, as the second single from their debut album, ''O-Town'' (2001). The song reached number three in the United States, number five in Canada, and number four in the United Kingdom. In 2006, Irish boy band Westlife recorded a cover version on their seventh studio album, '' The Love Album''—to which was used extensively as background music during the audition stages of ''The X Factor UK''. The song itself charted without being properly released as a single in the United Kingdom. Westlife later revealed that the song was first offered to them but Simon Cowell, their executive producer, rejected it and passed it on to O-Town, becoming their hit. O-Town
O-Town (also known as OTWN or OTOWN) is an American boy band formed from the first season of the reality television series ''Making the Band'' in 2000. As of 2015, the group consists of Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, and Dan Miller. The original line up included Ashley Parker Angel. Ikaika Kahoano was originally part of the band but was replaced by Miller after dropping out of the group. After releasing two albums near the end of the boy band fad of the late 1990s and early 2000s, the group disbanded in 2003. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie. GfK Entertainment is the provider of weekly Top 100 single and album charts, as well as various other chart formats for genres like compilations, jazz, classical music, schlager, hip hop, dance, comedy, and music videos. Broadcast Data Systems (also known as BDS or Luminate BDS), is a service that tracks radio, television and internet airplay of songs. The service, which is a unit of MRC Data, is a contributing factor to North American charts published by co-owned magazine '' Billboard'', including the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100, when combined with sales and streaming data from Soundscan. Jam! was a Canadian website which covers entertainment news. It was part of the Canoe.com online portal, formerly owned and operated by Quebecor through its Sun Media division, and now owned by Postmedia Network. Jam! was the only media outlet that published a comprehensive collection of the official Canadian record charts as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan and Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems.
