All for Nothing is a Rotterdam band consisting of five members. The music consists of punk rock, metal and hardcore influences. History The debut album ''Start At Zero'' was released in July 2004 by ''Tocado Records''. ''Start At Zero'' was written as a four-man formation. The recording took place under the direction of Patrick DeLabie in Studio 195. After positive reactions to their debut, the band performed with bands from the United States, the Netherlands and Germany, Bane, Comeback Kid, and Parkway Drive. In the autumn of 2005 frontwoman Cindy van der Heijden joined the ranks and took the lead vocals for her account. On 26 September 2006 bassist Normen Sam-Sin left the band after 6 years. Badr van der Meijden took over his role. At the end of 2006, the recordings of the ''Can't Kill What's Inside'' album took place at the Waterfront Studio in Rotterdam. Brand New Unit, commonly known as BNU, was a Canadian Hardcore punk band from suburban Vancouver, British Columbia. Its members were Gary Lavallee (vocals), Jinx Stringer (guitar), Ben Hughes (bass), and Garnet Kulhavy (drums). Kulhavy would later be replaced by Gob drummer Gabe Mantle. History The band formed in 1991 in Surrey, B.C. and started out playing locally and in Vancouver. In 1992 they were winners of CITR-FM's 1982 SHiNDiG live performance contest, which awarded them some studio time. They used it to record their first EP, ''Summertime''. Influences of 7 Seconds and Dag Nasty can be heard on ''Summertime'' with Kulhavy, while later recordings feature a more post-hardcore feel with hard-hitting live elements. ''Empty Streets'' is the debut album by the American house group Late Night Alumni, released through Hed Kandi Records. It was released physically in the UK on August 29, 2005. The lead single from the album of the same name, "Empty Streets", was released in September 2005 and it features remixes by Haji & Emanuel, Kaskade and Aurora. The Haji & Emanuel remix was featured in Tiësto's compilation album '' In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles'' (without crediting it as a remix) and, at the time, became one of the series' most downloaded tracks.
