All That (season 1)
The first season of the American sketch comedy- variety show '' All That'' ran on April 16, 1994, as a special preview, but officially ran from January to April 1995. The first season began in 1994-1995 with the pilot and 14 episodes. On April 16, 1994, Nickelodeon aired the ''All That'' pilot, which was the beginning of Season 1, the beginning of the "Golden Era", and the start of the ''All That'' series. After '' You Can't Do That on Television'' ended production in 1990, Nickelodeon had interest in creating another sketch comedy series for the network. The network debuted another sketch show called '' Roundhouse'' in 1992. After the show's debut, Nickelodeon asked Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins to create a new show. The network wanted a show that was similar to '' Saturday Night Live'', but for kids. Angelique Bates (born December 1, 1980) is an American actress, comedian, and rapper who is best known for the two seasons she served on the Nickelodeon sketch-comedy series ''All That''.''All That: Fresh Out the Box'', Steve Holland, Pocket Books, 1998 Career Early career Bates was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and is of Haitian and Native American descent. ''Nick Arcade'' (also stylized ''Nickelodeon Arcade'') is an American children's game show created by James Bethea and Karim Miteff and hosted by Phil Moore, with Andrea Lively announcing, that aired on Nickelodeon in 1992 (in the first season, the shows were taped in December 1991 and aired in early 1992), airing originally during weekend afternoons, with reruns airing until September 28, 1997. Phil Moore (born August 24, 1961) is an American television host, writer, producer, and comedian best known as the host of the Nickelodeon game show ''Nick Arcade''. Early life Moore was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Before breaking into the entertainment business in 1986, Moore worked as a computer technician in Orlando, Florida. Eventually, he quit to become a stand-up comedian, doing gigs around the Orlando area. Nickelodeon Studios
Nickelodeon Studios was a production studio and theme park attraction run by the television network Nickelodeon at Universal Studios Florida. Opening on June 7, 1990, as ''The First World Headquarters for Kids'', the studio attracted young tourists as contestants and audience members for Nickelodeon's live-action programming. At its peak, the studio employed 400 people and was the largest production studio in Florida, bringing $110 million in business to the state by 1994. The studio closed permanently on April 30, 2005, after much of Nickelodeon's production had moved to Nickelodeon on Sunset. KaBlam!
''KaBlam!'' (stylized as ''KaBLaM!'') is an American animated sketch comedy television series that ran on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 2000. The series was created by Robert Mittenthal, Will McRobb, and Chris Viscardi. The show was developed as a fully animated showcase for alternative forms of animation that were more common in indie films and commercials. Each episode thus features a collection of short films in different innovative styles of animation, bridged by the characters Henry and June, who introduce the short animations and have adventures of their own in between. Although SNICK aired many Nicktoons not part of its block, ''KaBlam!'' was the only Nicktoon created for SNICK. Racket Ball
Racquetball is a racquet sport and a team sport played with a hollow rubber ball on an indoor or outdoor court. Joseph Sobek invented the modern sport of racquetball in 1950, adding a stringed racquet to paddleball in order to increase velocity and control. Unlike most racquet sports, such as tennis and badminton, there is no net to hit the ball over, and, unlike squash, no tin (out of bounds area at the bottom of front wall) to hit the ball above. Also, the court's walls, floor, and ceiling are legal playing surfaces, with the exception of court-specific designated hinders being out-of-bounds. Racquetball is played between various players on a team who try to bounce the ball with the racquet onto the ground so it hits the wall, so that an opposing team’s player cannot bounce it back to the wall.
