''All's Well, Ends Well 2010'' or abbreviated as ''AWEW 2010'' (Chinese: 花田囍事2010) is the fifth instalment of the ''All's Well, Ends Well'' series released during China's lunar holiday seasons. Directed by Raymond Wong and Herman Yau, it was released to cinemas in Hong Kong on 11 February 2010. Plot Princess Pearl of Flowerland is sent to Midland at a young age to learn her ceremonials duties. Her mother, the Queen Mother misses her daughter very much that the King orders his sister, the princess, to return home. However, the princess has fallen in love with General Wing of the Midland army and is reluctant to part from him. As their boat approaches the Flowerland border, Pearl and Wing save the life of a girl named Ying, who threw herself into the sea in order to escape an arranged marriage. Raymond Wong (film Presenter)
Raymond Wong Pak-ming (Chinese: 黃百鳴, born 8 April 1946; sometimes transliterated as Raymond Wong Bak-ming) is a Hong Kong film producer, playwright, director and actor. He is one of the most successful producers in Hong Kong cinema, having been one of the comedians to establish Cinema City Studios in 1980. Career Cinema City In 1980, Wong formed the renowned Cinema City Co., Ltd. with Karl Maka and Dean Shek. Lee Heung-kam (13 January 1932 – 4 January 2021) was a Hong Kong Cantonese opera and TVB actress. Career She joined the entertainment industry when she was 14 years old. Since 1960, she became known for being an antagonist in many Cantonese operas, films and TV drama series. Wilfred Lau
Wilfred Lau Ho-Lung is a Hong Kong singer and actor. He is also known as "師兄" (C-Hing, Senpai) in the entertainment industry because he was the winner of the 16th annual New Talent Singing Awards International Finals in 1997, despite not being never actually becoming a singer until 2004. Many have compared his voice to the voice of Eason Chan. Lam Suet
Lam Suet (; born 1964), or Lin Xue, is a Hong Kong film actor. Life and career Lam was born in Tianjin, and came to Hong Kong as a youth in 1979 to receive inheritance money left by his grandfather. Soon after, all the money had been squandered and Lam had to work various odd jobs to make a living. In the mid-eighties he got employment on movie sets through the help of friends. The film stars Leslie Cheung, Stephen Chow, Raymond Wong, Maggie Cheung, Sandra Ng, and Teresa Mo. ''All's Well, Ends Well'' was a Lunar New Year film, where a film's release was timed to coincide with the larger movie audience at that time of year.
