Alişan Serkan Tektaş (born Serkan Burak Tektaş; 19 June 1976), better known as Alişan, is a Turkish singer. At high school he recorded his first album. In 1997, his first hit album ''Sana Birşey Olmasın'' was released. He was born in Şişhane district of Istanbul. He is originally from Zaza and is from Bingöl. He graduated from Kuvay-ı Milliye primary school, Private Şişli College secondary school, and Private Evrim High School, respectively. Alisan Leigh Porter (born June 20, 1981) is an American pop, rock & country singer, actress, and dancer. As a child, Porter made acting appearances in '' Parenthood'', '' Stella'' and ''I Love You to Death''. Her breakout role came in 1991, when she played the lead in the film ''Curly Sue'' opposite Jim Belushi. As an adult, Porter pursued roles in musical theatre, including a run in '' The Ten Commandments: The Musical'' and as an original cast member of the Broadway revival of ''A Chorus Line''. __NOTOC__ Ghevont Alishan () (1820-1901; also spelled Ghevond Alishan, or Leonzio Alishan in Italian or Léonce Alichan in French) was an ordained Armenian Catholic priest, historian and a poet. He was awarded by the Legion of Honour of the French Academy (1866), an honorary member of the Asian Society of Italia, , Venice Academy and Archeological Society of Saint-Petersburg. John Ruskin wrote that he "always looked upon him Padre Alishan as a sort of saint; he has been our friend for a great many of years."
