Alive And Feeling Fine
''Alive and Feeling Fine'' is the second studio album by Belgian DJ and record producer Lost Frequencies, succeeding his 2016 album '' Less Is More''. It was released on 4 October 2019 through Found Frequencies, Mostiko Records and Armada Music. It is composed of two parts, the first containing the seven tracks released by the DJ since his 2017 song "Crazy" and also new songs, while the second part primarily contains remixes. In November 2019, the album has been nominated at Music Industry Awards for the award "Best Album of the Year". Background On 15 September 2019, Lost Frequencies announced via Instagram the release date of the album, also posting a photo of its cover. He later indicated, on 30 September, that he would simultaneously release his track "Before Today" featuring Natalie Slade, which has been played for two years in his sets. Felix De Laet (born 30 November 1993), known by his stage name Lost Frequencies, is a Belgian DJ and record producer. He is best known for his singles "Are You with Me" in 2014, "Reality" in 2015, and " Where Are You Now" with Calum Scott in 2021. Background Name origin The name "Lost Frequencies" was first used when De Laet had used old songs, which he calls 'lost frequencies' to make remixes when he started the project. Career 2014–2015: "Are You with Me" In 2014, Lost Frequencies made a remix of country artist Easton Corbin's "Are You with Me". Rory Garton-Smith, better known by his stage name Elk Road, is an Australian musician and record producer from Perth. He began remixing tracks from Carmada, Kaskade, Britney Spears and Charli XCX which were uploaded to his SoundCloud account. His debut single "Not to Worry" was released in September 2015 and received high rotation on Triple J. Additional remixes were released in March 2016. Christopher Sean Lowe (born 4 October 1959) is an English musician, singer and songwriter, and co-founder of the synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, which he formed with Neil Tennant in 1981. Biography Lowe attended Arnold School, an independent school in his home town Blackpool, Lancashire. Whilst at school, he played trombone in a seven-piece dance band called One Under the Eight that played old-time favourites like " Hello Dolly", " La Bamba" and " Moon River". Lowe's grandfather had been a trombonist and was a member of comedy jazz troupe The Nitwits. Lowe also learned to play the piano. Neil Francis Tennant (born 10 July 1954) is an English musician, singer, songwriter and music journalist, and co-founder of the synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, which he formed with Chris Lowe in 1981. "Paninaro" is a song by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys. Originally a B-side to the 1986 single "Suburbia", it was released as a limited-edition single in Italy that same year. In 1995, a re-recording titled "Paninaro '95" was released to a wider market, to promote the duo's B-side compilation album ''Alternative'' (though only the original version was included on the compilation). Background The song is about the 1980s Italian youth subculture known as the paninari; derived from the word ''panino'', Italian for sandwich, they were known for congregating in restaurants serving sandwiches and in the first US-style fast food restaurants, as well as their preference for designer clothing and 1980s pop music such as the New Romantic music of Italo disco.
