Alina, The Turkish Assassin
''Alina, the Turkish Assassin'' is a 2012 action film written by Seda Eğridere and directed by Vladimir Jedlicka. The consulting producer for the film was the famous American director Bobby Roth. It stars Seda Eğridere and Tamer Karadağlı. Plot ''Alina'' tells story of Melisa Eryılmaz, a double agent named Alina, and her fight to discover the truth about her family and her real identity. Robert Jay Roth (born 1950) is an American television and film director, screenwriter and producer. Life and career Born and raised in Los Angeles, Roth began his tertiary education at the University of California, Berkeley studying philosophy and creative writing before earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema at the University of Southern California in 1972. Seda Eğridere
Seda Eğridere (born March 16, 1982) is a Turkish actress and film director. Eğridere acted in ''Alina, the Turkish Assassin''. In an interview with Hurriyet, Bobby Roth said "I accepted the project and agreed to shoot in Turkey only because I trusted Seda." In 2014, Eğridere made her directorial debut with the wartime drama ''Seasons of War'', a story about a multi-ethnic couple during the Siege of Sarajevo. Tamer Karadağlı
Tamer Karadağlı (born 24 May 1967) is a Turkish actor and director of Turkish State Theatres. Biography Tamer Karadağlı's family originated in Sarıkamış, Kars Province, and moved to America a short time after he was born. They returned to Turkey just as he began primary school there. He studied at Çankaya High School and TED Ankara College, after which he graduated in theatre from Bilkent University Conservatory. In 1993 he made his television debut in the hit daily series ''Ferhunde Hanımlar''.
