Ali Mohd Younes Idriss
Mohamed Younis Idris (born 15 September 1989) is a Sudanese athlete specialising in the high jump. He represented his country at the 2013 World Championships without qualifying for the final. In addition, he has won multiple medals on regional level. He has personal bests of 2.28 metres outdoors (Namur 2015) and 2.28 metres indoors (Bordeaux 2014). Both are current national records. He won the 2016 French Indoor Championships with 2.25 m and had close attempts at 2.29 m. Career Mohamed Younis Idris gained his first international experience in 2005 at the Junior African Championships in Radès, where he finished fourth with a leap of 2.06m. There, he took part in the Pan-Arab Championships and finished seventh with 2.05m. The following year, he finished fifth at the Pan-Arab Junior Championships in Cairo with 2.00m. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. Pan Arab Games
The Arab Games ( ar, الألعاب العربية), also called the Pan Arab Games, are a regional multi-sport event held between nations from the Arab world. They are organized by the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees. The first Games took place in 1953 in Alexandria, Egypt. Intended to be held every four years since, political turmoil as well as financial difficulties have made the event an unstable one. Women first competed in 1985. Majd Eddin Ghazal
Majd Eddin Ghazal ( ar, مجد الدين غزال; born 21 April 1987) is a Syrian high jumper. He utilizes the Fosbury Flop style, jumping off his left leg. He was the national flag bearer at the 2012 Summer Olympics and at the 2016 Summer Olympics. In the Men's high jump event, he ranked 28th and did not advance to the final in 2012. He qualified for the finals and finished 7th in 2016. Career At the 2015 World Championships held in Beijing's Olympic Stadium, the Birds Nest, he leaped a national record 2.29m on his first attempt in qualifying on August 28, but a miss at an earlier height placed him 15th, with only the top 14 advancing to the finals. Mutaz Essa Barshim
Mutaz Essa Barshim ( ar, معتز عيسى برشم, Muʿtazz ʿĪsā Baršim; born 24 June 1991) is a Qatari track and field athlete who competes in the high jump and is the current Olympic Champion (2020). He is also the current World Champion and second best jumper of all-time with a personal best of 2.43. He won gold at the 2017 World Championships in London and at the 2019 World Championships in Doha. At the Olympics, Barshim won bronze at the London 2012 Summer Olympics, silver at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and shared gold at the 2020 Summer Olympics Tokyo.
