Ali Firouzi
Ali Firouzi ( fa, علی فیروزی; born 11 March 1955 in Abadan, Iran) is an Iranian Football (soccer), football Coach (sport), coach and retired player who recently served as caretaker manager at Sanat Naft F.C., Sanat Naft, in the absence of Acácio Casimiro due to a cancer illness. He formerly managed Sanat Naft twice, first from 1992 to 1994 when he promoted to the head coach after was assistant coach for two years and a returns in 1995 that ended in 1999. He was also head coach of Esteghlal Ahvaz F.C., Esteghlal Ahvaz for one season. Abadan
Abadan ( fa, آبادان ''Ābādān'', ) is a city and capital of Abadan County, Khuzestan Province, which is located in the southwest of Iran. It lies on Abadan Island ( long, 3–19 km or 2–12 miles wide). The island is bounded in the west by the Arvand waterway and to the east by the Bahmanshir outlet of the Karun River (the Arvand Rood), from the Persian Gulf, near the Iran–Iraq border. Abadan is 140 km from the provincial capital city of Ahvaz. Etymology The earliest mention of the island of Abadan, if not the port itself, is found in works of the geographer Marcian, who renders the name "Apphadana". Earlier, the classical geographer Ptolemy notes "Apphana" as an island off the mouth of the Tigris (which is where the modern Island of Abadan is located). Pahlavi Iran
The Imperial State of Iran ( fa, کشور شاهنشاهی ایران, ), also known as the Imperial State of Persia, was the official name of the Iranian state under the rule of the Pahlavi dynasty. It was formed in 1925 and lasted until 1979, when the Pahlavis were overthrown as a result of the Islamic Revolution, which abolished Iran's continuous monarchy and established the present-day Islamic Republic of Iran.
