Algeria A' National Football Team
The Algeria A' national football team ( ar, منتخب الجزائر لكرة القدم للمحليين) is the local national football team of Algeria and is open only to domestic league players. The team represents Algeria at the African Nations Championship and is controlled by the Algerian Football Federation. The primary men's Algeria national football team contains expatriate players and represents Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations. Fennec Fox
The fennec fox (''Vulpes zerda'') is a small crepuscular fox native to the deserts of North Africa, ranging from Western Sahara to the Sinai Peninsula. Its most distinctive feature is its unusually large ears, which serve to dissipate heat and listen for underground prey. The fennec is the smallest species of fox. Its coat, ears, and kidney functions have adapted to the desert environment with high temperatures and little water. It mainly eats insects, small mammals, and birds. The fennec has a life span of up to 14 years in captivity and about 10 years in the wild. Its main predators are the Verreaux's eagle-owl, jackals, and other large mammals. Fennec families dig out burrows in the sand for habitation and protection, which can be as large as and adjoin the burrows of other families. Lucas Alcaraz
Luis Lucas Alcaraz González (born 21 June 1966) is a Spanish retired footballer, currently manager of UD Ibiza. Ali Fergani ( ar, علي فرقاني) (born September 21, 1952) is an Algerian football manager and former player who played in the midfield position as a playmaker. Career Fergani played club football for NA Hussein Dey and JE Tizi-Ouzou. Fergani played for the Algeria national football team at the 1980 Summer Olympics. He also took part in the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain. In 1981, Fergani came third in a run for an African Footballer of the Year award. The 2020 African Nations Championship, known as the Total African Nations Championship (also referred to as CHAN 2020) was the 6th edition of the African Nations Championship, a biennial football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) exclusively featuring players from the respective national championships. The tournament was held in Cameroon from 16 January to 7 February 2021. Originally it was scheduled to be played from 4 to 25 April 2020. The 2018 African Nations Championship, known as the Total African Nations Championship (also referred to as CHAN 2018) was the 5th edition of the African Nations Championship, a biennial football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) exclusively featuring players from the respective national championships. It took place between 12 January and 4 February 2018. In February 2016, Kenya was announced as the host nation but in September 2017, CAF decided to change the host nation due to a lack of progress with preparations. The 2016 African Nations Championship (also referred to as CHAN 2016) was the 4th edition of the African Nations Championship, the biennial international football championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the men's national teams of Africa featuring exclusively players from their respective national leagues. The tournament was held in Rwanda between 16 January and 7 February 2016. A total of 16 teams played in the tournament. This edition is the first time that all group runners-up made it into the semi-finals. 2014 African Nations Championship
The 2014 African Nations Championship was the third African Nations Championship football tournament. The 16 national teams featured players from the respective national championships. The tournament took place between 11 January and 1 February 2014 in South Africa. Originally, the tournament was to be hosted in Libya. This was the first African Nations Championship tournament where all matches were considered full international matches. Hosts South Africa were knocked out in the group stages, which has been attributed to the national league not pausing during the tournament. Many clubs would not release their players.
