Alfred Farag
Alfred Farag (14 June 1929 – 4 December 2005 ) was an Egyptian playwright. He was one of the eminent Egyptian playwrights of the post-1952 Revolution period. He obtained his BA in English Literature from the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University in 1949. He then began a teaching career that lasted until 1955, when he abandoned it for a post in the press as a literary critic. He worked at several press institutions, including: “ Rose El Youssef”, “El Tahrir” and “Al Gomhouriyya”. Farag took part in the establishment of the public management for the “mass culture” project and in the foundation of artistic groups in Egypt. He also had an important role in the introduction of theatre in Egypt’s provinces. He, with many great writers like Noaman Ashour, Saad Eddin Wahba, Michael Roman, Rashad Roushdy and Yousef Edrees, contributed in the “nothing like” renaissance of theatre in the sixties. Sharif Malikah
Sharif Malikah ( ar, شريف مليكة), an Egyptian poet, writer, and physician, was born in 1958. He lives in the United States. He published four poetry collections in colloquial Egyptian, three short stories collections, and seven novels. Personal life Sharif Maher Mikhael Malikah was born in Alexandria in Egypt on 1 June 1958. He studies elementary school at Bab El Louk School and then move to Al-Zahir School to complete his preparatory and secondary education. After graduating from high school, he studied at Al-Qasr Al-Aini College at Cairo University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1981. After graduating from university, he worked as a health inspector in Tora and was responsible for a campaign to vaccinate prisoners in the prison. Zagazig
Zagazig ( ar, الزقازيق ' , rural: ) is a city in Lower Egypt. Situated in the eastern part of the Nile delta, it is the capital of the governorate of Sharqia. It is located on the Muweis Canal and is a hub of the corn and cotton trade. There is a museum of antiquities, the Sharkeya National Museum (sometimes called the Amed Orabi Museum, at Herriat Raznah) that contains many important archaeological exhibits (currently closed for restoration). Zagazig University, one of the largest universities in Egypt, is also located in the city, with colleges in different fields of science and arts.
