Alexander Sims (racing Driver)
Alexander George Oliver Sims (born 15 March 1988, in London) is a British people, British professional racing driver, currently competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports. He previously drove for Action Express Racing, Whelen Engineering Racing in IMSA where he won the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship. Previously Sims has driven in the Formula E, ABB FIA Formula E Championship for Mahindra Racing and Andretti Autosport, BMW i Andretti Motorsport, winning one race in 2019 Ad Diriyah ePrix, Saudi Arabia. Sims was the winner of the 2008 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award for promising young British drivers. Career Karting Sims' kart racing career started in 1998 when he started competing in club competitions. The 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the eighth championship year of the Formula 3 Euro Series. The 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship was a multi-event Motorsport#Motor racing, motor racing championship for single-seat Open-wheel car, open wheel Formula racing, formula racing cars that was held across Europe. The 2012 FIA Formula 3 European Championship was the first edition of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. It began at Hockenheim on 28 April, and finished on 21 October at the same venue after ten meetings, held jointly with the Formula 3 Euro Series and the British Formula Three Championship. The 2015 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 23rd season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 6 April at Oulton Park and finished on 13 September at Donington Park, after nine rounds held over seven meetings. The 2014 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 22nd season of the British GT Championship.
