Alejandro Gonzalez Dominguez (born December 6, 1970) is an American Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives for House District 37, which is located in Cameron County, Texas. Education Dominguez earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rice University in Houston in 1993 and his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Texas House of Representatives On May 22, 2018, Dominguez won a runoff election for Texas House District 37 unseating incumbent Rene Oliveira. He ran unopposed in the November general election. Dominguez on November 17, 2021 announced his run for the Texas Senate (District 27) to replace Eddie Lucio Jr. who is retiring. Alejandro "Álex" Domínguez Romero (born 30 July 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ligue 1 club Toulouse. Career Born in Granollers, Barcelona, Catalonia, Domínguez represented CE Sabadell FC as a youth before making his senior debut with the reserves on 6 December 2014, starting in a 2–1 Tercera División home loss against UE Castelldefels. After one further match for the B-side, he moved to RCD Espanyol and was assigned back to the youth setup. In 2016, Domínguez was loaned to CF Damm for one year, to finish his formation; upon returning, he was assigned to Espanyol's B-team also in the fourth division. He featured sparingly for the side, and renewed his contract until 2020 on 22 March 2018. Alexander Domínguez Carabalí (born 5 June 1987) is an Ecuadorian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ecuadorian Serie A club LDU Quito and the Ecuador national team. Club career LDU Quito (2006-2016) Domínguez played for L.D.U. Quito from 2006 to 2016, taking over the starting spot from José Francisco Cevallos. He won two Ecuadorian Serie A titles, the 2009 Copa Sudamericana, the 2009 Recopa Sudamericana and the 2010 Recopa Sudamericana. Domínguez is one of the top 300 goalkeepers in the world, the third highest ranked Ecuadorian, and the highest ranked active Ecuadorian in terms of time spent without conceding a goal.
