The Aleksandër Moisiu Theatre, or called also Durrës Theatre ( sq, Teatri Aleksandër Moisiu) is a theatre in the city centre of Durrës, Albania. The theatre took its name from Austrian actor Alexander Moissi, who was of Albanian descent. History The building of the theatre dates from the 1950s. It officially opened on 11 January 1953. Durrës
Durrës ( , ; sq-definite, Durrësi) is the second most populous city of the Republic of Albania and seat of Durrës County and Durrës Municipality. It is located on a flat plain along the Albanian Adriatic Sea Coast between the mouths of the Erzen and Ishëm at the southeastern corner of the Adriatic Sea. Durrës' climate is profoundly influenced by a seasonal Mediterranean climate.
