Aleksandr Dmitrijev
Aleksandr Dmitrijev (born 18 February 1982) is an Estonian football coach and an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Tallinna Cosmos. Internationally, Dmitrijev made 106 appearances for the Estonia national team. Club career TJK Dmitrijev came through the youth system at TJK and made his senior league debut in 1998. TVMK In 1999, Dmitrijev joined TVMK. He made his debut in the Meistriliiga on 30 June 1999, against Levadia. Levadia In 2001, Dmitrijev joined Levadia. He won his first Meistriliiga title in the 2004 season, and two more in 2006 and 2007. In March 2008, Dmitrijev was dropped from the squad and put on the transfer list after refusing to sign a contract extension. Hønefoss On 31 March 2008, Dmitrijev joined Norwegian club Hønefoss on loan until 31 July, with the option to make the move permanent. On 30 July, he signed for Hønefoss on a permanent deal. Estonia National Football Team
The Estonia national football team ( et, Eesti jalgpallikoondis) represents Estonia in international football matches and is controlled by the Estonian Football Association, the governing body for football in Estonia. Estonia's home ground is Lilleküla Stadium in Tallinn. Estonia's first match was held against Finland in 1920, being a 6–0 defeat. The team participated in the 1924 Olympic Games tournament, their only participation. In 1940, Estonia was occupied by the Soviet Union and did not regain independence (and the possibility of a national football team) until 1991. Estonia's first FIFA recognised match as an independent nation after the break-up of the Soviet Union, was against Slovenia on 3 June 1992, a 1–1 draw in the Estonian capital city of Tallinn. Tallinna Jalgpalli Klubi Legion or simply TJK Legion is an Estonian football club, based in Tallinn. On 4 January 2007, Tallinna Jalgpalli Klubi and Tallinna SK Legion merged into this club. Legion also has a reserve team. Its name is Tallinna JK Legion II. History Predecessor Tallinna JK Tallinna Jalgpalli Klubi, or TJK in short, was founded on 5 May 1921 and were one of the founding members of the Estonian Football Championship in 1921. TJK became the first football club in Estonia to have a foreign coach, appointing Hungarian Franz Woggenhuber as coach in 1922. FC Minsk
FC Minsk ( be, ФК Мінск) is a professional football club based in Minsk, Belarus. They play in the Belarusian Premier League, the highest tier of Belarusian football. Their colours are red and navy blue. History The club was established in 2006 and was based on the Belarusian First League club '' Smena Minsk''. FC Minsk took over Smena's license and was able to start immediately operating in the Belarusian First League without having to first play in the Second League, the third tier in Belarus. Belarusian Premier League
The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier. Russian Football National League
The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. The 2009 1. divisjon (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norway, Norwegian second-tier association football, football season. The season began play on 5 April 2009 and will end on 1 November 2009. The club relegated from the Tippeligaen in 2008 was Hamarkameratene, Ham-Kam. Sandnes Ulf and IL Hødd, Hødd were relegated to the 2. divisjon in 2008 after finishing in fifteenth and sixteenth place respectively. 2006 Meistriliiga was the 16th season of the Meistriliiga, Estonia's premier football league. FC Levadia Tallinn, Levadia won their fourth title. Season overview FC Levadia won the 2006 Meistriliiga championship and entered the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League 1st Qualifying Round. Narva Trans finished in their best ever silver-medal position, while FC Flora also gained a place compared to last season on 2005 champions FC TVMK's disappointing year. The latter will enter the Intertoto Cup and the other two above mentioned teams enter the UEFA Cup qualifying rounds in the summer of 2007. The bottom of the table provided some intrigue as well. 2004 Meistriliiga was the 14th season of the Meistriliiga, Estonia's premier football league. Levadia won their third title. Season overview Levadia Tallinn won their third title with a six-point advantage over the runners-up TVMK Tallinn. Tammeka Tartu and Tervis Pärnu won promotion to the Meistriliiga as the Esiliiga champions and third placed team respectively, the runners-up Levadia Tallinn II were ineligible for promotion. Expansion of the league to ten teams from eight, for the upcoming season, also ensured that even the last placed Lootus Alutaguse had a chance to stay in the top flight, but were defeated by Esiliiga's fourth team Dünamo Tallinn, winning the away leg 2-1, but then losing at home 0-4 a week later. Meistriliiga (, known as the A. Le Coq Premium Liiga for sponsorship reasons) is the highest division of the Estonian Football Association annual football (soccer), football championship. The league was founded in 1992, and was initially semi-professional with amateur clubs allowed to compete. With the help of solidarity mechanisms, the league is fully professional since the 2020 Meistriliiga, 2020 season. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. Meistriliiga consists of ten clubs, all teams play each other four times. After each season the bottom team is relegated and the second last team plays a two-legged play-off for a place in the Meistriliiga. In February 2013, A.
