Alberto Castrenze Costa (born 13 November 1971) is a British Conservative Party politician. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Leicestershire since the 2015 general election. Early life Costa was born to Italian parents who have lived in Scotland for 50 years. He grew up in Bishopbriggs. He trained as a solicitor and worked at the Treasury Solicitor's Department. Political career At the 2010 general election, Costa unsuccessfully contested the Angus constituency; where he finished in second place behind the sitting MP Mike Weir of the Scottish National Party. Costa was opposed to Brexit prior to the 2016 EU referendum. Alberto Zalamea Costa (24 August 1929 – 2 September 2011) was a Colombian journalist, politician, and diplomat. He served as the ambassador of Colombia to Côte d'Ivoire, Venezuela and Italy. Zalamea began his early career as a journalist. His first job in journalism was with the ''La Razon'' newspaper. By 1959, Zalamea had been promoted to the editor of ''La Semana''. A strong proponent of freedom of the press, Zalamea operated a magazine called ''La Nueva Prensa''. He also became a columnist for '' El Tiempo'' and ''Revista Cromos''. Zalamea was elected to the Chamber of Representatives of Colombia in 1970. Albert Costa i Casals (; born 25 June 1975) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. He is best remembered for winning the Men's Singles title at the French Open in 2002. Tennis career Costa began playing tennis at the age of five. He first came to the tennis world's attention as an outstanding junior player. In 1993, he reached the French Open junior final and won the Orange Bowl. He turned professional later that year and quickly established a reputation as a strong clay court player. Spanish former player and commentator for Spanish television Andrés Gimeno used to call him "the man with two forehands", because he could hit with the same accuracy and strength both forehand and backhand. Albert Costa Balboa (born 2 May 1990 in Barcelona) is a Spanish racing driver who currently competes in the Blancpain GT Series. Career Karting Costa started his international karting career in 2004, in the Copa Campeones Trophy for ICA Junior class karts, finishing in seventh position. He continued in the same class in 2005, with the exception of the Copa Campeones Trophy, where he competed in the ICA class. He finished seventh again in that race, adding a seventh in the Spanish ICA Junior Championship, a 27th in the Andrea Margutti Trophy, and 29th in the European Championship. However, Costa excelled himself later in the season, winning the Italian Open Masters. He held off the challenges of Charles Pic and Marcus Ericsson to win the title by nine points. Alberto Facundo "Tino" Costa (born 9 January 1985) is an Argentinian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Deportivo Morón. Club career Early career Costa, commonly known as ''Tino'', began his career in Argentina playing for local club La Terrazza. At the age of 17, he made the highly risky decision of leaving the country for the island of Guadeloupe to play for Racing Club de Basse-Terre in the Guadeloupe Division d'Honneur.
