Albert Edward Harris
Albert Edward (A. E.) Harris (c. 1870 – 24 October 1933) was a British engineer and artist, known for his depictions of the Newfoundland landscape. Harris emigrated to Newfoundland in 1907. Initially employed the Reid Group of England at their sulphate pulp mill in Bishop's Falls, Newfoundland, he ended his career in the lumber industry as Managing Director of the Anglo-Newfoundland Development Co. Ltd, in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. In 1929, Harris moved to Kent Cottage in Brigus, Newfoundland, that had been rented to American Artist Rockwell Kent during World War I. He named it "Kent Cottage" after Kent County in England. It was here that Harris lived until 1933. Harris was one of the founding members of The Newfoundland Society of Art in 1925. The Society sponsored annual exhibitions of local and imported art, and exported local art. The Society disbanded in 1937, following a series of financial troubles, as well as the deaths of its founders, Fanny (Hector) McNeil in 1928 ...

Albert Harris (footballer)
Albert Harris (16 September 1912 – 1995) was an English footballer who made 92 appearances in the Football League playing on the wing for Hull City, Newcastle United, Barnsley and Darlington in the 1930s. He also played for Wearside League clubs Hetton United, Herrington Swifts, and Blackhall Colliery Welfare, and for Scunthorpe & Lindsey United. Harris represented Durham Schools at under-15 level, playing for the team for two seasons, 1925–26 and 1926–27, rather than the customary one. Albert Harris (football Manager)
Albert Harris was an English amateur footballer who served as both director and manager of Bradford City. Harris was a keen sportsman, who was a free-scoring amateur centre-forward once scoring 89 goals in one season, a speedway rider at Thrum Hall, Halifax and president of Bradford Conservative Games League. In February 1949 he was elected honorary treasurer of the newly formed Bradford City A.F.C. Shareholders and Supporters Association and was later co-opted on to the Bradford City board. As a former footballer he helped assistant manager George Jowett during the 1949-50 season while manager David Steele was ill with heart trouble in Bradford Royal Infirmary. When Steele's contract was bought out in February 1952 three months before it was due to end, Harris was appointed interim manager while the board of directors chose a new manager. Albert Harris (composer)
Albert Harris (13 February 1916 – 14 February 2005) was an English musician who worked most of his life in Hollywood as an orchestrator, arranger and composer for several of the big Film Studios and for such pop icons as Barbra Streisand, Roberta Flack and Cher. Harris was born in London and studied piano from age 6 and was also a self-taught guitarist; his knowledge of this instrument enabled him in later years to compose pieces specifically for guitar (his ''Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel'' was recorded by Andrés Segovia). During the mid-1930s he began to make a name for himself as a session musician in London where he featured on many recordings, most notably as session guitarist with the Lew Stone band, his delicate but swinging improvisations enhancing many of Stones records during the 1934-35 period.
