Albert Allen
Albert Allen (born Aston, Birmingham on 1 April 1867, died 13 October 1899) was a football player in the early years of professional football in England, who played as an inside-forward with Aston Villa. He made one appearance for England on 7 April 1888 when he scored three goals in a 5–1 victory over Ireland, thus making him one of the five England players who scored a hat trick on his only international appearance. Season 1888-89 He first joined Villa in August 1884 (before the foundation of the Football League), played in the first Villa League team to debut at Dudley Road, Wolverhampton, then home of Wolverhampton Wanderer's. Albert Arthur Allen
Albert Arthur Allen (May 8, 1886 – January 25, 1962) was an American figure photographer and film director known for nude portraiture. Biography Allen was born to a wealthy New England family in 1886, and was educated in Boston. At the age of twenty-one, he moved to California and spent years traveling and studying art. In 1916, he opened the Allen Art Studios in Oakland, California, where he devoted his efforts to refining photographic techniques. The studio later became known as the Allen Institute of Fine and Applied Art, before it was destroyed by a fire in 1925. The following year, Allen rebuilt the studio and called it the Classic Motion Picture Corporation, a venture that lasted two years before declaring bankruptcy. A motorcycle accident in 1923 left Allen permanently disabled, but he continued to work. His nude photographs were considered scandalous by American standards during the Roaring Twenties. Albert Robert Allen
Albert Robert Allen (11 October 1916 – 7 February 1992) was an English footballer who played as a winger in the Football League for Clapton Orient, Fulham, Doncaster Rovers, Northampton Town and Colchester United. The majority of his success as a player came at Colchester United, where he won the Southern League Cup and finished as runner-up in the league the same year, helping the club gain entry to the Football League. Career Born in Bromley-by-Bow, London, two-time England Schoolboy international Allen was on the books at Tottenham Hotspur before leaving to join Leytonstone in 1932, and then rekindled his Football League career at Clapton Orient in 1933 where he made one appearance. Allen then joined another London-based club, Fulham, where he made eleven appearances in two years. Allen moved north to play for Doncaster Rovers in 1937, joining for a fee of £350. Bert Allen (Australian Footballer)
Albert Victor Edward Allen (7 May 1887 – 4 June 1975) was an Australian rules football player and umpire. He played for Richmond in the Victorian Football League (VFL). For a short period he was appointed to the VFL list of umpires. Football career Allen was recruited to Richmond from Preston and made his debut in round 3 versus University. Named at full-forward he snapped the match's first goal and scored another later but the Tigers were defeated by 15 points. The following week Allen played in his second and final VFL match. He kicked one goal and Richmond lost again this time by 26 points. Richmond made four changes the following week including Allen who did not play for Richmond again. Umpiring career In 1915 Allen was briefly appointed to the VFL list of boundary umpires. Albert John Allen (16 October 1891 – ) was an English professional footballer who played in the Football League for Glossop, Manchester City, Southport and Crewe Alexandra as a full back.
