Alar Rikberg
Alar Rikberg (born 11 August 1981) is an Estonian volleyball coach, sport personnel and former indiaca player. He was born in Tartu. In 2003 he graduated from the University of Tartu in public relations speciality. He has won silver medal at World Indiaca Championships. Indiaca
Indiaca is a form of the Brazilian game peteca popular in Europe. It is played on court across a net with similar rules to volleyball but instead of a ball, a large shuttlecock, sometimes also called an ''indiaca'', or ''featherball'' is used; this consists of four goose feathers attached to a heavier base, and it is controlled using the hands. In this way, indiaca differs from jià nzi (or featherball), a very similar game originating in Vietnam and China, where the shuttlecock is controlled with the feet. Indiaca can be played by two individual players facing each other, or by small teams. BIGBANK Tartu is an Estonian professional volleyball club based in Tartu, Estonia, that competes in the Baltic Men Volleyball League. Founded in 1999, the team has won 4 Baltic League championships, 5 Estonian League championships and 4 Estonian Cups. The team plays its home games at University of Tartu Sports Hall. History The team was founded 1999 as Pere Leib Tartu. Before that Tartu volleyball was represented by Ösel Foods Tartu, who had won the Estonian League in 1998 and 1999. Rait Rikberg (born 30 August 1982) is an Estonian volleyball player, who plays for his hometown club Bigbank Tartu.
