Alandur Metro Station
Arignar Anna Alandur Metro, commonly known as the Alandur Metro, is an elevated metro station that is part of the Blue Line and the Green Line of the Chennai Metro, and serves as an interchange station between the two lines. The station is one of the two metro stations where the two lines intersect, the other being the Chennai Central metro station. It is the city's first multi-level railway station. It is the only station where passengers from the two corridors can swap the direction of travel. On 31 July 2020, It has been named by Government of Tamil Nadu as ''Arignar Anna Alandur Metro'' to honor the DMK founder and the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu C. N. Annadurai. Guindy Metro Station
Guindy metro station is a Metro railway station on the Blue Line of the Chennai Metro, which opened on 21 September 2016 along with the elevated section on the Blue Line. The station is among the elevated stations coming up along corridor I of the Chennai Metro, Wimco Nagar–Chennai International Airport stretch. The station will serve the neighbourhoods of Guindy and Velachery. Kilambakkam is a suburban locality in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is located between Vandalur and Urapakkam along Grand Southern Trunk Road (GST Road). It is the entrance gateway for the Chennai City from the southern end. CMDA is constructing a bus terminus for South bound buses and Extension of Metro Rail Phase 1 of Chennai Metro Rail Limited. Chennai International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu and its metropolitan area. It is located in Tirusulam, southwest of the city centre. Officers Training Academy
The Officers Training Academy (OTA) is a training establishment of the Indian Army that trains officers for the Short Service Commission (SSC). The 49-week course at the OTA prepares graduates for all branches of the Army, except for the Army Medical Corps. Established in 1963, the first academy is located in Alandur, a southern neighbourhood of Chennai.
