Alan Miller (game Designer)
Alan Miller is an American video game designer who was the co-founder of the video game company Activision. Career Miller studied electrical engineering and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 1973. Miller joined Atari, Inc. in February 1977 and was one of the first four Atari 2600 game designers. His 2600 titles include ''Surround'', '' Hangman'' and ''Basketball''. With others, he co-authored the operating system for the Atari 400/800 computers in late 1978 and early 1979. His last game for Atari, ''Basketball'', was one of the first ROM games for the Atari computers. Miller did not work on any Atari 2600 cartridges during his last year with Atari. In late 1979, Miller left Atari with three other programmers, David Crane, Larry Kaplan and Bob Whitehead. Alan Miller (footballer)
Alan John Miller (29 March 1970 – 3 June 2021) was an English professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He notably played in the Premier League for Arsenal, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers, however his 108 league appearances for West Bromwich Albion over two spells was the club he appeared the most for. During his playing career he also played in the Football League for Plymouth Argyle, Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town, Grimsby Town, Bristol City and Coventry City, as well as a spell in the Scottish Premier League with St Johnstone. He was capped 4 times by England U21 Life and career Miller grew up at Loughton, where he attended Epping Forest High School. He began his footballing career as an apprentice at Arsenal in 1984. Alan Miller (born June 19, 1937) is an attorney and former collegiate and professional football fullback. He played college football for Boston College. While at Boston College, Miller was a member of the All East and All New England Teams in 1959, as well as a member of the Catholic All American Team in 1958 and 1959. Miller was voted winner of the Omelia Trophy in 1959 and was a member of the North Squad in the Senior Bowl All Star Game played in Mobile, Alabama in 1960. Miller (born March 5, 1954) is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist and the founder of the News Literacy Project, a national education nonprofit that works with educators and journalists to offer resources and tools that help middle school and high school students learn to separate fact from fiction. Alan Thomas Miller (1 June 1925 – 9 September 2000) was an Australian rules football coach in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He was senior coach of South Melbourne in 1967 and 1968, one of only a few people who have coached a VFL/AFL club without having been a player in the league. Miller, who was born in Colac, served with the Royal Australian Navy during World War II. He played amateur football with South Melbourne Districts, then in 1953 and 1954 coached Albert Park in the Melbourne Amateur Sunday Football Association. After steering Albert Park to a premiership in 1954, Miller was coach of the South Melbourne thirds (Under 19s). In Miller's seven years as coach, from 1955 to 1961, South Melbourne finished in the top five every season and won a premiership in 1956. The Mavericks (2003 Album)
''The Mavericks'' is the sixth studio album by the American country music band The Mavericks. It was their only release for Sanctuary Records, and their first studio album since '' Trampoline'' in 1998. The album produced three singles in "I Want to Know", "Would You Believe" and a cover version of "The Air That I Breathe", which was made famous by The Hollies. The latter was the only single to enter the charts, peaking at number 59 on ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs). ''The Mavericks'' was the band's final studio album before they disbanded in 2003.
