Ragheb Alama
Ragheb Alama ( ar, راغب علامة born 7 June 1962) is a Lebanese singer, dancer, composer, television personality, and philanthropist. Alama began his career in the 1980s when he appeared as a contestant on the talent show broadcast Studio El Fan, on which he received the Platinum Award. Alama's fame came after Studio El Fan followed by yearly albums and number-one hit singles such as "Ya rait" (''If Only''), "'Aan Jad" (''Seriously'') and "Alby Asheq'ha" (''My Heart Adores Her'') which was the first Arabic song in history to be made into a music video. Alama continued his success into the 2000s with the release of his chart-topping albums ''Saharony El Leil'' (2001), ''Tab Leh'' (2002), ''El Hob El Kebeer'' (2004) and ''Ba'asha'ak'' (2008), the latter which earned the artist the Platinum certification from Virgin Megastores for its record sales. Khodr Alama
Khodr Alama, sometimes written as Khodr Alameh or Khodr Alame (Arabic: خضر علامة) (born December 3, 1963) is a Lebanese music executive and entrepreneur. He is the founder and current CEO of Backstage Production. He is the brother and manager of Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama. Life and career Alama is a graduate of York University, where he was a Business major. He began a career in the music industry as a guitarist and manager for his brother Ragheb Alama, who had won the Platinum Medal on the Lebanese TV show Studio El Fan in 1980. Khodr was the first to bring music videos to the Middle East with Ragheb Alama's song "Albi A'she'aha". After disputes with record labels at the time of releasing Ragheb's album "Al Hob El Kebeer", Khodr established his own artist management and entertainment company Backstage Production to manage the works of his brother.
