State Route 192 (SR 192) is a route that serves as a bypass route around western Enterprise. Route description The western terminus of SR 192 is located at its intersection with SR 167 south of Enterprise. From this point, the route travels in a northwesterly, and then northerly direction as it circles around the western side of the city. As the route approaches its terminus at US 84, it has completed a half-circle around Enterprise, and westbound SR 192 is actually traveling in an eastward direction. Enterprise is a city in the southeastern part of Coffee County and the southwestern part of Dale County in Southeastern Alabama, United States. Its population was 28,711 at the 2020 census. Enterprise is the primary city of the Enterprise micropolitan statistical area (with the portion of the city in Dale County part of the Ozark micropolitan statistical area). It was originally a part of Enterprise–Ozark micropolitan area before being split; for a longer while it was originally part of the Dothan-Enterprise-Ozark combined statistical area but is now its own separate primary statistical area in later censuses. Coffee County is a county located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, the population was 53,465. Its name is in honor of General John Coffee. Coffee County comprises the Enterprise, Micropolitan Statistical Area, which was originally Enterprise–Ozark micropolitan area in 2010 censuses before being split off. It was originally included in the Dothan-Enterprise-Ozark, Combined Statistical Area in its 2012 statistics but the area in its recent years has been separated from the Dothan metropolitan area and Ozark micropolitan area in later censuses and is its own primary statistical area now. The southern terminus of the route is at the Florida state line, where State Road 79 (SR 79) crosses into Geneva County, Alabama. Enterprise Municipal Airport is a city-owned, public-use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) west of the central business district of Enterprise, a city in Coffee County, Alabama, United States. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility. This airport is assigned a three-letter location identifier of EDN by the Federal Aviation Administration, but the International Air Transport Association (IATA) airport code is ETS.
