Al Coates (ice Hockey)
Alan Coates (born December 3, 1945) is an executive in the National Hockey League who most recently served as the Executive Director of 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship. Coates is a former General Manager of the Calgary Flames, a post he held from November 1995 until the end of the 1999–2000 NHL season. He then was named the Vice President of Hartford Sports and Entertainment for the New York Rangers from 2000–03. Coates served as interim General Manager of the Anaheim Ducks in 2004–05 before becoming the Senior Advisor to the General Manager. He then served as the Director of Player Personnel for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2008. Listowel, Ontario
Listowel is an unincorporated community in Ontario, Canada, located in the Municipality of North Perth. Incorporated as the Town of Listowel in 1875, it was dissolved in 1998 following amalgamation with several other communities in the northern section of Perth County. Brian Burke (ice Hockey)
Brian P. Burke (born June 30, 1955) is an American-Canadian ice hockey executive and former analyst serving as president of hockey operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also served as the general manager of the Hartford Whalers, Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks (with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2007) and Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as president of hockey operations for the Calgary Flames.
