Akil Gjakova
Akil Gjakova (born 4 January 1996) is a Kosovan judoka. He is a gold medalist at the Mediterranean Games and the European Judo Championships. Career He won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2018 Mediterranean Games held in Tarragona, Spain. In 2021, he won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg event at the European Judo Championships held in Lisbon, Portugal. Peja ( Indefinite Albanian form: ''Pejë'' ) or Peć ( sr-Cyrl, Пећ ) is the fourth largest city of Kosovo and seat of Peja Municipality and Peja District. The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015 or Baku 2015 European Games ( az, Bakı 2015 Avropa Oyunları), were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees.
