Akari Fujinami
Akari Fujinami ( ja, 藤波朱理; born 11 November 2003) is a Japanese Freestyle wrestling, freestyle wrestler. Her older brother is 2017 World Wrestling Championships bronze medalist Yuhi Fujinami. She has won 111 straight national and international bouts since her loss at the in 2017. Fujinami won the gold medal in the 2021 World Wrestling Championships – Women's freestyle 53 kg, women's 53kg event at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships held in Oslo, Norway. She also won the gold medal in her event at the 2022 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Fujinami won the gold medal in the women's 55kg event at the 2023 Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament held in Sofia, Bulgaria. She also won the gold medal in the Wrestling at the 2022 Asian Games – Women's freestyle 53 kg, women's 53kg event at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Individual World Cup was held as replacement for the World Wrestling Championships. 2023 Grand Prix Zagreb Open
The 2023 Grand Prix Zagreb Open, was a wrestling event held in Zagreb, Croatia between 1 and 5 February 2023. It was held as the first of the ranking series of United World Wrestling in 2023. With an aim to reward wrestlers participating in Ranking Series tournaments, the United World Wrestling will award prize money to the medal winners in all weight classes with a total prize money of 390,000 Swiss Francs. The gold medal winners at the four Ranking Series tournaments in 2023 will receive 1500 Swiss Francs with the silver medallists getting 750 Swiss Francs. The two bronze medallists will receive 500 Swiss Francs each.
