Ain't That Ducky
''Ain't That Ducky'' is a 1945 Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' cartoon, directed by Friz Freleng. The cartoon was released on May 19, 1945, and stars Daffy Duck. In the short, Daffy has to outwit a hunter after him — and find out what is in the briefcase another duck is carrying around. While Mel Blanc did the voices for the ducks in this cartoon, the hunter was voiced by Victor Moore, a departure from either Blanc or Arthur Q. Bryan. Plot Daffy is taking a bubble bath in a pond when he hears the sobbing of a yellow duckling carrying a satchel. When Daffy politely asks the duckling what is wrong with him, the yellow duckling refuses and instead stops sobbing long enough to blow daffy off with a loud "AAH, SHUT UP!" before opening the satchel and resuming his devastation. When Daffy tries to find out what is in the satchel that is causing the yellow duckling so much grief, the duckling tells Daffy, "AAH, KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF, MISTOR ANTHONY!" Friz Freleng
Isadore "Friz" Freleng (August 21, 1905May 26, 1995), credited as I. Freleng early in his career, was an American animator, cartoonist, director, producer, and composer known for his work at Warner Bros. Cartoons on the ''Looney Tunes'' and '' Merrie Melodies'' series of cartoons. In total he created more than 300 cartoons. He introduced and/or developed several of the studio's biggest stars, including Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety, Sylvester, Yosemite Sam (to whom he was said to bear more than a passing resemblance), and Speedy Gonzales. The senior director at Warners' Termite Terrace studio, Freleng directed more cartoons than any other director in the studio (a total of 266), and is also the most honored of the Warner directors, having won five Academy Awards and three Emmy Awards. ''Baby Bottleneck'' is a 1946 Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' cartoon directed by Bob Clampett and written by Warren Foster. The cartoon was released on March 16, 1946, and stars Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. Tweety makes a cameo appearance in the film. Plot As the post-World War II baby boom explodes, an overworked stork (patterned after comedian Jimmy Durante) gets drunk in the Stork Club, complaining that he does all the work and the fathers get all the credit. Daffy Duck is an animated cartoon character created for Leon Schlesinger Productions by animators Tex Avery and Bob Clampett.
