Aik Gunnah Aur Sahi
''Aik Gunnah Aur Sahi'' is a Pakistani Urdu film directed by Hassan Tariq, and based on short story "Mummy" by Saadat Hassan Manto. Plot Mummy, a supplier of young girls loves one of her girls as her daughter, yet she has no hesitations to sent her to rich men to spend night with them. One day, she comes across a man who saves her life by taking her to hospital. After knowing her more, he decides to marry her, Mummy allows him to do so but hides her past. He brings her to his house where she is shocked to see her father-in-law, the same person who had spent a night with her. Hassan Tariq (22 October 1934 – 24 April 1982) was a Pakistani film director, film producer and screenwriter who was famous for making films like Anjuman, Kaneez, Baharo Phool Barsao, ''Dewar Bhabhi''. Early life and career Hassan was born on 22 October 1934 in Amritsar, India. He migrated to Pakistan after its establishment. He started his career as an assistant director. He directed his first film, ''Neend'' (Sleep) in 1959 and became a successful director. He made around 40 films in Pakistan film industry and was the main reason behind the success of his wife Rani. Saifuddin Saif (20 July 1922 12 July 1993) was a Pakistani lyricist, poet, film producer-director, and the founder of Rehnuma Films, a film studio of 1954. He was involved in writing poems and lyrics before and after the Partition. However, most of his films written before partition remained unreleased due to political instabilities in the subcontinent.
