Ahmad Tu'mah
Ahmad Saleh Tu'mah al-Khader (also spelled ''Tumeh'', ''Touma'' and ''Tohme'', ar, أحمد طعمة; born 1965, in Deir ez-Zor, Syria) is a Syrian politician who was elected as Prime Minister of the Syrian Opposition, Syrian Syrian Interim Government, interim government created by the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces. Tu'mah, a self-proclaimed moderate Islamist, won with 75 out of the 97 votes on a meeting held by the National Coalition in Istanbul and, as was with his predecessor Ghassan Hitto, has been tasked to create a government with 13 ministers to govern the zones in Syria currently under the control of the Free Syrian Army forces. Syrian Interim Government
The Syrian Interim Government ''(SIG)'' is an alternative government in Syria, formed by the umbrella opposition group, the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces. The interim government indirectly controls some areas of the country and claims to be the sole legitimate government on behalf of the Syrian opposition in defiance of the Council of Ministers (Syria), Council of Ministers of the Syrian Arab Republic. The Free Syrian Army (FSA) ( ar, الجيش السوري الحر, al-jaysh as-Sūrī al-ḥur) is a loose faction in the Syrian Civil War founded on 29 July 2011 by officers of the Syrian Armed Forces with the goal of bringing down the government of Bashar al-Assad.
