Ahmad Johnie Zawawi
Ahmad Johnie bin Zawawi (born 1963) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Igan since May 2018. He is also the non-executive Chairman of Indah Water since 2020. He is a member of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and formerly Barisan Nasional (BN) coalitions. Early career Johnie was born in Daro and obtained a bachelor's degree in political science from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 1986. He used to work at the Royal Malaysian Customs Department from 1988 to 2000 before becoming the Chief Operating Officer of The Sarawak Press and Warta Distributions (2000-2004), as well as WHS Holdings (2004-2015). Most Exalted Order Of The Star Of Sarawak
The ''Darjah Utama Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Sarawak'' (Most Exalted Order of the Star of Sarawak) is the highest state order in the state of Sarawak. It is conferred to those who rendered excellent service towards the development of the state of Sarawak and Malaysia. The Order was established in 1964, a year after Sarawak's independence with the formation of Malaysia. The history of the order can be traced back to 1928, where a similar order named Order of the Star of Sarawak was established by the White Rajahs. However, the revived order has no connection with the previous order, except for the similarity of the name of the order. The motto of the Order is based on the state motto and the current one was adopted in 1988. The design of the order ribbon was changed twice, first in 1973 and again in 1988. The National Trust Party (AMANAH; ms, Parti Amanah Negara), is a registered political party in Malaysia advocating a reformist strand of political Islam. Melanau People
Melanau or ''A-Likou'' (meaning River people in Mukah dialect) is an ethnic group indigenous to Sarawak, Malaysia. They are among the earliest settlers of Sarawak. They speak in the Melanau language, which is a part of the North Bornean branch of Malayo-Polynesian languages.
