Agneepath (2012 Film)
''Agneepath'' () is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language action drama film produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar under Dharma Productions and directed by Karan Malhotra in his directorial debut. A remake of the eponymous 1990 film of the same title directed by Mukul S. Anand and starring Amitabh Bachchan, it centers on a screenplay written by Malhotra and Ila Dutta Bedi, with dialogues written by Piyush Mishra. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Kanika Tiwari, Om Puri and Zarina Wahab. Karan Malhotra is an Indian film director and screenwriter. He is best known for his debut film '' Agneepath'' (2012) which emerged as one of the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year. 58th Filmfare Awards
The 58th Filmfare Awards were held honoring the best films of 2012 from the Hindi-language film industry (commonly known as Bollywood). The nominations were announced on 13 January 2013. The ceremony was held on 20 January 2013 at Yash Raj Studio, Mumbai. The event was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan for the sixth time. All the Filmfare Black Lady statuettes had gold-plated bottoms to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema. Harivansh Rai Bachchan (; 27 November 1907 19 December 2002) was an Indian poet and writer of the Nayi Kavita literary movement (romantic upsurge) of early 20th century Hindi literature. Amitabh Bhattacharya (born 16 November 1976) is an Indian lyricist and playback singer who works in Bollywood films. Yash Johar
Yash Johar (6 September 1929 – 26 June 2004) was an Indian film producer and the founder of Dharma Productions. His films featured lavish sets, were often set in "exotic" locations, and incorporated Indian traditions and family values. He is the father of Karan Johar, now a noted filmmaker himself. Personal life Johar was born on 6 September 1929 in Amritsar, Punjab Province (British India), Punjab, in a Punjabis, Punjabi family. He was married to Hiroo, sister of filmmaker Yash Chopra.
