Aggrupation Of Parties For Prosperity
Aggrupation of Parties for Prosperity, commonly known as APP and formerly known as Aggrupation of Parties for Progress, is a local political party in the region of Zamboanga Peninsula in the Philippines. It is a political party founded by Romeo Jalosjos as the Alliance of Parties for Progress based in the province of Zamboanga del Norte. As of 2018, APP is currently allied with Hugpong ng Pagbabago of Sara Duterte. Most of its candidates are allied with different national parties, notably Nacionalista Party and Nationalist People's Coalition. Electoral history 2013 local elections Cesar Jalosjos, Zamboanga del Norte's 3rd District representative was fielded for the gubernatorial post with Dapitan City Vice Mayor and former Mayor Patri "Jing" Chan running for the vice-gubernatorial post. Seth Frederick "Bullet" Pal Jalosjos is a Filipino politician from the province of Zamboanga del Norte. Family and personal life He is the son of former First District Congressman Romeo G. Jalosjos, half-brother of Congressman Romeo "Jonjon" Jalosjos Jr. and sister of TV host and former Baliangao, Misamis Occidental mayor Svetlana Jalosjos-de Leon. The Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) is a conservative political party in the Philippines, founded in 1992 by then-presidential candidate Eduardo Cojuangco Jr. History The Party was founded in 1992 after some members of the Nacionalista Party led by then Rizal Governor Isidro Rodriguez bolted from the party after some disagreements with party leader and then-Vice President Salvador Laurel in preparation for the 1992 presidential elections. Members of the civil society including the business sector who called themselves "Friends of Danding" invited business tycoon Eduardo "Danding" Cojuangco, a former associate of the long-term authoritarian president Ferdinand Marcos, to run as president and Senator Joseph Estrada as vice president. Svetlana Jalosjos-de Leon (professionally known as Lana Jalosjos) is a Filipina singer, politician, and former TV host of the longest afternoon running variety show Eat Bulaga!, aired on GMA Network. Family She is the daughter of Romeo G. Romeo Montague () is the male protagonist of William Shakespeare's tragedy ''Romeo and Juliet''. Rosalina Garcia Jalosjos, known locally as Nene Jalosjos, is a Filipino politician from the province of Zamboanga del Norte. She currently serves as Governor of Zamboanga del Norte since 2022, the second woman after fellow Dapitanon Guadalupe "Guading" Adaza to hold the position in the province's history.
