Against All Odds (video Game)
''Against All Odds'' is an Adobe Flash video game developed by UNHCR designed to teach players about the plight of refugees. Originally released in Swedish in 2005, the game has been translated into several languages, the English edition of which was released in November 2007. Initial funding for the project came from a grant of NOK 1 million from Statoil to UNHCR's Baltic and Nordic regional office, with the aim of developing a project to reach young people and promote integration in the region. UNHCR sought advice from Umeå University regarding interactive media for schools, and discussed ideas with the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training and the Swedish Integration Board. UNHCR decided to proceed the project as a web-based game, a medium which could reach a large number of young people, require no distribution costs and minimal marketing costs. The game was aimed at 12 - 15 year olds, an age where people began to develop ideas regarding refugees and similar ...

Against All Odds (Chase & Status Song)
"Against All Odds" is a collaborative single, recorded by British musicians and production team Chase & Status featuring vocals from British rapper Kano. The single was released on 23 February 2009 as the second single from Chase & Status' debut studio album, ''More Than Alot''. "Against All Odds" contains samples from the 1967 song "Dead End Street" by Lou Rawls and a drum sample from "Apache" by Incredible Bongo Band. The music video for the track features Kano and Chase & Status in an underground nightclub in London. "Against All Odds" was released as a double A-side single with the instrumental track "Saxon", which later went on to appear in the deluxe edition of ''More Than Alot''. It was recorded for the soundtrack to the 1984 film of the same name. "Against All Odds (Take a Look At Me Now)" also topped the charts in Canada, Ireland, and Norway, while peaking at No. 2 in the United Kingdom. The song has been covered by several singers, some versions of which have been successful in both the US and UK markets. The song has twice reached No. 1 in the UK singles chart: the pairing of Mariah Carey and boyband Westlife, in September 2000, and then again by Steve Brookstein, the first winner of ''The X Factor'', in Jan ...
