Muhammed Afzal Khan Lala also known as Afzal Khan Lala (b. 1926 – 1 November 2015) was a Pashtun nationalist, former Pakistani provincial and Federal minister from the Swat valley in the North-West Frontier Province. Hailing from the Yousafzai Tribe of Bara Durushkhela village of Matta, Swat and a senior member of the Awami National Party, he survived several assassination attempts allegedly by the supporters of Maulana Fazlullah. Swat District (, ps, سوات ولسوالۍ, ) is a district in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Majeed Malik
Abdul Majeed Malik (1919 3 June 2016) was a lieutenant general in the Pakistan Army, World War II veteran, diplomat and later politician who served as minister of Kashmir Affairs & Northern Areas and minister of States & Frontier Regions from 11 July 1997 to 12 September 99. Prior to entering in the political race, he served as a director for military operations at general headquarters. Before the partition, he was a commissioned officer in the British Indian Army. He also drafted 1958 martial law, the first military coup of Pakistan. He was born in 1919 in Jand, Chakwal, British India (in modern-day Punjab, Pakistan). He received his secondary education from a school at Hasola in 1935, and later went to Government High School Chakwal (in modern-day Government Post Graduate College). Afrasiab Khattak ( ps, افراسیاب خټک; ) is a Pashtun nationalist politician and political analyst who is a senior leader of the National Democratic Movement (NDM). He has formerly served as the chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), a member of the Senate of Pakistan (2009–2014), and the provincial president of the Awami National Party (ANP). Abdul Latif Afridi (Pashto/ ur, ), also known as Latif Lala (), is a lawyer and Pashtun nationalist politician who was formerly the president of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan. Kabir Stori (6 April 1942 – 4 April 2006) ( ps, کبیر ستوری) was a Pashtun nationalist, poet, and writer from Kunar Province of Afghanistan. He was chairman of the Pashtoons Social Democratic Party, a political party that he founded, until his death.
