The event of Taekwondo competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics is held in Beijing. It was on the duration of August 20 to August 23 at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium. The event consists of various athletes, who are 128 Taekwondo practitioners, consisting 64 men and 64 women. Daniel Manz (born September 12, 1987 in Kempten im Allgäu, Bavaria) is a German taekwondo practitioner. Michael Paul Harvey (born 21 September 1989) is a British taekwondo practitioner. He is a European champion at bantamweight (under 63 kilograms), a World silver medalist and has competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Guillermo Pérez Sandoval (born October 14, 1979) is a Mexican taekwondo practitioner and Olympic gold medal winner. Pérez stands at 171 cm and weighs 58 kg.
