Afghan Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2016–17
The Afghan cricket team toured Zimbabwe between January and February 2017. The tour consisted of five One Day International (ODI) matches. Ahead of the ODI series, the Afghanistan A cricket team played five "unofficial" ODI matches against the Zimbabwe A cricket team. All of those matches had List A status. Afghanistan won the List A series 4–1 and the ODI series 3–2. Prior to the start of the ODI matches, Zimbabwe Cricket brought forward the fixtures in their domestic List A completion, the 2016–17 Pro50 Championship, in preparation for the tour. Graeme Cremer
Alexander Graeme Cremer (born 19 September 1986) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who was the captain of the Zimbabwe national cricket team, between May 2016 and March 2018. He is a leg-spinner who got into the Zimbabwe side at the age of eighteen, following the exits of Paul Strang, Andy Whittall and Ray Price.. In January 2019, Cremer put his cricketing career on hold to relocate to Dubai to be with his family. List A Cricket
List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket, with games lasting up to eight hours. List A cricket includes One Day International (ODI) matches and various domestic competitions in which the number of overs in an innings per team ranges from forty to sixty, as well as some international matches involving nations who have not achieved official ODI status. Together with first-class and Twenty20 cricket, List A is one of the three major forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Sikandar Raza
Sikandar Raza Butt (} ; born 24 April 1986) is a Pakistani-born Zimbabwean international cricketer, who plays all formats primarily as a batter. Born in Sialkot, Raza emigrated to Zimbabwe in 2002 along with his family. He soon became one of the best batsman in the domestic competition and caught the eye of the Zimbabwe selectors. The only problem was citizenship issues, which was granted in 2011. Early life Raza was born in Sialkot to a Punjabi speaking Kashmiri family. He studied at the Pakistan Air Force Public School Lower Topa for three years and aspired to be a Pakistan Air Force pilot, but his dreams were cut short when he failed a vision test that was mandatory for selection in the Pakistan airforce at that time. Richard Ngarava
Richard Ngarava (born 28 December 1997) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He made his Twenty20 debut for Zimbabwe against Free State in the 2016 Africa T20 Cup on 9 September 2016. Earlier, he was part of Zimbabwe's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Tarisai Musakanda (born 31 October 1994) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who plays for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He was part of Zimbabwe's squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Carl Mumba (born 6 May 1995) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who plays for Mid West Rhinos. He made his Test cricket debut for the Zimbabwe cricket team in October 2016. Wellington Pedzisai Masakadza (born 4 October 1993) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who has played first-class and limited overs matches for the Mountaineers and the Mashonaland Eagles. Hamilton Masakadza (born 9 August 1983) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played all formats of the game for Zimbabwe. Peter Joseph Moor (born 2 February 1991) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He plays as a wicket-keeper batsman and is a former vice-captain for the Zimbabwe cricket team. Moor holds an Irish passport, and since 2021, he has been playing cricket in Ireland with an aim to qualify to play for the Ireland cricket team. Craig Richard Ervine (born 19 August 1985) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who captains Zimbabwe in limited overs matches. Ervine is a left-handed batter. He was born in Harare and has played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team and first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides in the Logan Cup. Elton Chigumbura
Elton Chigumbura (born 14 March 1986) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played for Zimbabwe national cricket team between 2004 and 2020. He was educated at Churchill School (Harare) and made his debut at the age of 18, amidst the rebel crisis and has played 14 Test matches.
