Adrián Marín Gómez (born 9 January 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Portuguese club Gil Vicente. Club career Villarreal Born in Torre-Pacheco, Region of Murcia, Marín joined local Villarreal CF's academy in 2009 at the age of 12. He made his senior debut with the C team in the 2013–14 season in the Tercera División, and also appeared with the reserves in the Segunda División B the same year. In May 2014, Marín was called up to the main squad by manager Marcelino García Toral for the preseason trip to Asia. He also appeared in friendlies against CF Reus Deportiu and Middlesbrough. Marín played his first match as a professional on 28 August 2014, coming on as a substitute for Jaume Costa in the 57th minute of a 4–0 home win against FC Astana in the play-off round of the UEFA Europa League. Torre-Pacheco
Torre-Pacheco () is a municipality in the autonomous community of Murcia in southeastern Spain. It covers an area of 189.4 km² and its population in 2019 was 35,676. The only high ground in the municipality is Cabezo Gordo hill, the location of the protected Sima de las Palomas archeological site. The town has one secondary education institution, the I.E.S. Gerardo Molina. The municipality is known for its golf courses, and its windmills are known region wide. The 2016–17 La Liga season, also known as LaLiga Santander for sponsorship reasons, was the 86th since its establishment. The season began on 19 August 2016 and concluded on 21 May 2017. Real Madrid secured the title following their away victory at Málaga on the final matchday, finishing with 93 points and winning a record-extending 33rd championship, their first since the 2011–12 season. The 2014–15 UEFA Europa League was the 44th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the sixth season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
