Adam Thoseby
Adam Nathan Campbell Thoseby (born 25 November 1991) is a British-Australian professional basketball player for the Ballarat Miners of the NBL1 South. Born in Australia, Thoseby grew up in England and began playing for the Reading Rockets in 2009–10 before moving to the United States. He played college basketball between 2011 and 2016 for Utah State, South Dakota and Georgia Southwestern State. He played in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) for the Sydney Kings in 2017–18 and the British Basketball League (BBL) for the Worcester Wolves in 2018–19. He played in Germany and Austria over the next two years before returning to Australia. Thoseby has represented both the England and Great Britain national basketball teams and is a joint British-Australian passport holder. British Basketball League
The British Basketball League (BBL) is a men's professional basketball league in Great Britain and represents the highest level of play in the countries. The league is contested by 10 teams from England and Scotland. There are no clubs however from Wales or Northern Ireland. The BBL runs three additional knockout competitions alongside the BBL Championship which are the BBL Cup, the BBL Trophy and the end-of-season BBL Play-offs. The BBL sits above the National Basketball League and the Scottish Basketball Championship which effectively form the second tier of British basketball.
