Adam Dodd
Adam John Dodd (born 14 May 1993) is an English professional footballer who play as a left back for club Bamber Bridge. Career Dodd was born in Kirkham, Lancashire, and joined Blackpool at under-10 level. He progressed through the youth teams & sign a two-year scholarship in 2009 along with seven other youngsters. During the 2010–11 season he appeared on the bench in Blackpool's FA Cup tie against Southampton but remained an unused substitute. He signed a full-time professional contract in May 2011 following the completion of his scholarship. A feat he admits would have been difficult without the guidance of Head of Youth Gary Parkinson. Blackpool allowed Dodd to join Conference North side Altrincham on a month's loan deal. Kirkham, Lancashire
Kirkham (originally Kirkam-in-Amounderness) is a town and civil parish in the Borough of Fylde in Lancashire, England, midway between Blackpool and Preston ( west of Preston) and adjacent to the smaller town of Wesham. It owes its existence to Carr Hill upon which it was built and which was the location of a Roman fort. At the census of 2011, it had a population 7,194. Droylsden F
Droylsden is a town in Tameside, Greater Manchester, England, east of Manchester city centre and west of Ashton-under-Lyne, with a population at the 2011 Census of 22,689. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Lancashire, in the mid-19th century Droylsden grew as a mill town on the Ashton canal. 2011–12 Football Conference
The 2011–12 Football Conference season was the eighth season in which the Football Conference consisted of three divisions and the thirty-third season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The Conference Premier is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, whilst the Conference North and Conference South exist at the sixth level. The Conference was won by Fleetwood Town who together with York City, the winner of the play-off of the Premier division, were promoted to Football League Two, while the bottom four were relegated to the North or South divisions. BK Skjold
Boldklubben Skjold af 1915 is a Danish football club based in Østerbro, Copenhagen- Founded in 1915, the club has over 1,400 members making it one of Denmark's biggest football clubs in terms of membership. BK Skjold's teams use either Fælledparken or Ryparken for their training sessions. Blackpool Victoria Hospital
Blackpool Victoria Hospital, known locally as The Vic, is the main hospital for Blackpool and the Fylde Coast in Lancashire, England. It is managed by the Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. History The hospital was originally located on Whitegate Drive and was opened as the Blackpool Hospital in 1894. It became the Blackpool Victoria Hospital by consent of Queen Victoria when it was enlarged in 1898. The foundation stone of a new building on East Park Drive was laid by the Earl of Derby on 9 June 1933. The new hospital opened there in 1936 and then joined the National Health Service in 1948. Somerset Park
Somerset Park is a football stadium located in Ayr, South Ayrshire, Scotland. It has been the home of Ayr United since they were founded in 1910. Prior to that, it was the home ground of Ayr, who merged with Ayr Parkhouse to form Ayr United. History Ayr commissioned Somerset Park in 1888 to replace Beresford Park. Ayr needed an alternative venue for a friendly match against Aston Villa because Beresford Park was being used for the Ayr Cattle Show at the time. The Beresford Park clubhouse and grandstand were dismantled and reassembled at Somerset Park. Ayr entered the Scottish Football League in 1897, but failed to seriously challenge for promotion to the First Division.
