Both releases were limited editions: only 1,500 copies of the LP and 4,000 copies of the CD were produced. ''Ache'', along with its predecessor, ''Deaf'', was recorded in an 8-track studio. The ''Ache'' LP is Self Immolation #WOMB OYBL 2. The CD re-release is Ectopic Ents #ECT ENTS 013. Reception *AllMusic (Andy Hinds) - "Seemingly a musical omnivore, oetusdevours everything and spits it back out in a scrap heap of sonic chaos, twisted beyond recognition. His oblique yet subversive lyrical themes don't make Ache any more palatable for the faint of heart. This is the sound of unfiltered imagination, absolutely unencumbered by notions of commerce or accessibility. Brilliant." *''NME'' - "''Ache'' is possessed by a bristling, maniacal intelligence which spews out a jostling, surreal collage of subverted musica ...

No Doubt (No Doubt Album)
''No Doubt'' is the debut studio album by American rock band No Doubt, released on March 17, 1992, by Interscope Records. It was originally recorded as an independent release, but was re-recorded after the band signed with Interscope. It was produced by Dito Godwin and recorded in Los Angeles. The album was released during a period in which the United States was mainly focused on grunge music, an angst-ridden genre that almost completely contrasted with No Doubt's upbeat, commercial sound. Despite strong tours, the album failed to perform as well as the record company expected it to, selling only 30,000 copies, and received mixed reviews. The record company refused to fund the release of a single from it, so No Doubt released its only single "Trapped in a Box" independently. Since the band signed out of Interscope, the band independently produced and released a follow-up to ''No Doubt'' titled ''The Beacon Street Collection'' in 1995, which had a better commercial performance, sel ...

Bivouac (album)
''Bivouac'' is the second studio album by American punk rock band Jawbreaker, released on Tupelo Recording Company and Communion Records in 1992 on CD, LP and cassette. In contrast to their later albums which were entirely written by Schwarzenbach, ''Bivouac'' has been described as Jawbreaker's "most collaborative" album; the songs "Sleep", "P.S. New York is Burning", and "Like a Secret" were written "in full or in part" by bassist Chris Bauermeister, while "Parabola" was a collaborative effort between all three band members. The tracks "You Don't Know..." and "Pack It Up" are covers. The former was recorded and co-written by Joan Jett and released on her album '' Bad Reputation'' under its full title, "You Don't Know What You've Got." "Pack It Up" is a variation of the song of the same name from The Pretenders' second eponymous album with the lyrics rewritten, retaining only the music and the phrase, "You guys are the pits of the world." ''Bivouac'' is the only Jawbreaker studio ...
