Academy Of Sciences Of Albania
The Academy of Sciences of Albania ( sq, Akademia e Shkencave e Shqipërisë), founded in 1972, is the most important scientific institution in Albania. In the 1980s, several research institutes began at the University of Tirana were transferred to the Academy's jurisdiction. The institution includes the most distinguished scientists, also called "academics", that are involved in research centers and other organisations inside and outside Albania. , the Academy had 23 regular members, 10 associated members, one permanent member, and 26 honor members. Shaʽban ( ar, شَعْبَان, ') is the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. It is called as the month of "separation", as the word means "to disperse" or "to separate" because the pagan Arabs used to disperse in search of water. Arian Durrësi
Arianism ( grc-x-koine, Ἀρειανισμός, ) is a Christological doctrine first attributed to Arius (), a Christian presbyter from Alexandria, Egypt. Arian theology holds that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who was begotten by God the Father with the difference that the Son of God did not always exist but was begotten within time by God the Father, therefore Jesus was not coeternal with God the Father. Arius's trinitarian theology, later given an extreme form by Aetius and his disciple Eunomius and called anomoean ("dissimilar"), asserts a total dissimilarity between the Son and the Father. Rexhep Qemal Meidani (; born on 17 August 1944) is an Albanians, Albanian physics professor, diplomat and politician. Meidani was the List of presidents of Albania, 4th President of Albania from 1997 to 2002, and the second to be elected after the 1991 Albanian parliamentary election, first multi-party elections in 1991. Muzafer Korkuti
Muzafer Korkuti (born 1936) is an Albanian archaeologist and prehistorian. He is considered an expert on the prehistoric period of Albania. Korkuti was the director of the Institute of Archeology at the Centre for Albanological Studies in Tirana from 1998 to 2005 and currently serves as President of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. He is also a corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute. Anila Paparisto
Anila Paparisto is an entomologist and taxonomist from Albania, who was appointed in 2021 as Vice Rector for Teaching at the University of Tirana. She is also Professor in Invertebrate Zoology and Teaching Didactics there. Her career began at the university in 1994 and in 2011 was promoted to professor. Her research has focussed on invasive species in Albania, in particular in riverine environments. She is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. Marenglen Verli (1951–) is an Albanian historian and scholar. Since 2009, he is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. Life Verli was born in Tirana on 19 December 1951. After finishing the high school "Petro Nini Luarasi", he entered the Faculty of History-Philology of the University of Tirana, History-Geography branch. During 1973–79 he worked as teacher in the town of Laç. Xhevahir Spahiu (born 1 March 1945 in Malind, Skrapar District, Albania) is an Albanian poet. Biography Spahiu studied at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Philology and History, Literature-Language Branch. Since 1968, he has worked as a journalist for the newspaper ''Zëri i Popullit'' (''Voice of the People''), a magazine editor for ''Nëntori'', and a librettist and teacher at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Tirana. He has received the "Migjen" Award and was the winner of the first prize in the competition for the 45th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland. His work also includes children's books. Xhevahir Spahiu has even made lyricist for some songs, some of which have won awards.
