Miroslav Dvorský
Miroslav Dvorský (born 16 May 1960) is a Slovak operatic tenor of international renown who has had an active career since the early 1980s. Biography Born in Partizánske, Dvorský has a twin brother, Jaroslav Dvorský, who is also an opera singer. He has three more siblings, two of which also have opera careers: Peter Dvorský and Pavol Dvorský. His other brother, Vendelín Dvorský, is an economist. Dvorský earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the technical school in his native city. He then studied singing at the Bratislava Conservatory under Ida Černecká and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Edita Gruberová
Edita Gruberová (; 23 December 1946 – 18 October 2021) was a Slovak coloratura soprano. She made her stage debut in Bratislava in 1968 as Rosina in Rossini's ''Il barbiere di Siviglia'', and successfully auditioned at the Vienna State Opera the following year, which became her base. She received international recognition for roles such as Mozart's Queen of the Night in ''Die Zauberflöte'' and Zerbinetta in ''Ariadne auf Naxos'' by Richard Strauss. Lucia Popp (born Lucia Poppová; 12 November 193916 November 1993) was a Slovak operatic soprano. She began her career as a soubrette, and later moved into the light-lyric and lyric coloratura soprano repertoire and then the lighter Richard Strauss and Wagner operas. Sylvia Čápová-Vizváry M. A., ArtD. (; born March 12, 1947 in Szombathely, Hungary) is a Slovakian pianist. Early life Čápová learned the basics of piano playing from her mother Gizela, a piano teacher.
