Abobaku is a 2010 short film written and produced by Femi Odugbemi and directed by Niji Akanni. Synopsis Aremu who must die with the king (Abobaku) was caught between pleasing his lover and following the tradition. He later got to know the king was poisoned by one of the Chief hence his health could be preserved as he pleases his pregnant partner. Niji Akanni
Niji Akanni is a Nigerian dramatist, screenwriter, director, producer and filmmaker. Education Akanni received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University and a master's degree in Film Studies from the University of Ibadan as well as a professional master's degree (MFA) in Screenplay Writing and Film Directing from the Film and Television Institute of India. Femi Odugbemi
Femi Odugbemi (born 1963) is a writer, filmmaker, television producer, and the founder/executive producer of Zuri24 Media, a content production company in Lagos. Early life and career Odugbemi was born in Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria in 1963. He studied film and television production at Montana State University Bozeman Montana, USA (1979-1984). After graduating, he worked briefly at the Nigerian Television Authority and later as a film and radio producer at two advertising agencies in Lagos: LOWE-LINTAS and McCann-Erickson.
