Abdul Karim (born 1 March 2000) is a Ghanaian professional Association football, footballer who plays as midfielder for Ghanaian Premier League side Bechem United F.C., Bechem United. Career Karim started his career with Bechem United F.C., Bechem United and he made his debut during the 2019–20 Ghana Premier League, 2019–20 season. He made his debut in a 2–1 victory over Berekum Chelsea F.C., Berekum Chelsea on 2 February 2020. On 20 February 2020, he scored his debut goal after scoring the first goal in the 2–1 victory over Liberty Professionals F.C., Liberty Professionals. He played in 6 league matches and scored 1 goal before the league was cancelled due to restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana. He was named on the squad for the 2020–21 Ghana Premier League, 2020–21 season and had his breakout season during that season. The 2019–20 Ghana Premier League was the 64th season of top professional association football league in Ghana. The season started on 28 December 2019. 18 teams compete in the league with each club playing each other twice, home and away, with the three clubs at the bottom of the league relegated to the Division One League. Season overview With 18 clubs participating in the league, this marked the first time since 1980 that more than 16 clubs competed in the top division of Ghanaian football.
