Abdallah Ibn Muhammad Al-Khaqani
Abu'l-Qāsim Abdallāh ibn Muḥammad al-Khāqānī () was a son of the Abbasid vizier Muhammad ibn Ubayd Allah al-Khaqani, under whose vizierate in 912–913 he actually ran the government, before becoming vizier himself in 924–925. Life He was the son of Muhammad ibn Ubayd Allah al-Khaqani, vizier from 912 to 913, and grandson of Ubayd Allah ibn Yahya ibn Khaqan, vizier from 851 to 861 and 870 to 877. He served as a secretary under his father during the latter's vizierate, along with his brother Abd al-Wahid. During is father's vizierate, Abdallah supervised the actual administration, while his father was busy trying to secure his own position at court. Nevertheless, the contemporary historians are unanimous in describing Abdallah and his father as both indolent and incompetent. Muhammad Ibn Ubayd Allah Al-Khaqani
Abū ʿAlī Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd Allāh al-Khāqānī () was a senior official of the Abbasid Caliphate, who served as vizier from 912 to 913. He was the son of the distinguished Ubayd Allah ibn Yahya ibn Khaqan, who served twice as vizier, under the caliphs al-Mutawakkil and al-Mu'tamid. The famous historian al-Tabari was his tutor, reportedly being paid ten gold dinars a month. A rival of Ali ibn al-Furat, he succeeded the latter as vizier to Caliph al-Muqtadir in July 912, and remained in office until August 913. His tenure was marked by attempts to shore up finances through imposing heavy fines to dismissed officials of the Banu'l-Furat faction, and by a pro-Hanbali stance that led to anti-Shi'ite measures. Mu'nis Al-Muzaffar
Abū'l-Ḥasan Mu'nis al-Qushuri ( ar, ابوالحسن مؤنس ابوالحسن; 845/6–933), also commonly known by the surnames al-Muẓaffar (; ) and al-Khadim (; 'the Eunuch'), was the commander-in-chief of the Abbasid army from 908 to his death in 933 CE, and virtual dictator and king-maker of the Caliphate from 928 on. The Sack of Basra was the capture and looting of the Abbasid city of Basra by the Qarmatians of Bahrayn, and took place in August 923. It was the first of a series of Qarmatian attacks, that culminated in an invasion of Iraq in 927–928. Background In the 890s, the Isma'ili missionary Abu Sa'id al-Jannabi had established an independent Qarmatian state in Bahrayn. Abbasid Caliphate

Qarmatian
The Qarmatians ( ar, قرامطة, Qarāmiṭa; ) were a militant Isma'ili Shia movement centred in al-Hasa in Eastern Arabia, where they established a religious-utopian socialist state in 899 CE. Abu'l-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al-Hasan ibn al-Furat () (855 – 18 July 924) was a senior official of the Abbasid Caliphate who served three times as vizier under Caliph al-Muqtadir. Ali emerged into prominence as an able fiscal administrator and deputy to his older brother Ahmad.
