Khan Ataur Rahman
Khan Ataur Rahman (known as Khan Ata; 11 December 1928 – 1 December 1997) was a Bangladeshi film actor, director, producer, screenplay writer, music composer, and singer, best known for his role in the film ''Jibon Theke Neya'' (1970). He received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Screenplay for the films ''Sujon Sokhi'' (1975) and ''Danpite Chhele'' (1980). He was awarded Ekushey Padak posthumously in 2003 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life and education The son of Ziarat Hossain Khan and Zohra Khatun, who lived in Singair Upazila, Manikganj District, Rahman was born on 11 December 1928. Abida Sultana is a Bangladeshi adhunik singer. Early life and career Sultana was born to Abdus Salam and Muslima Begum. She completed her bachelor's in political science. She got her musical breakthrough in 1974. She performed as a playback singer for the films Abar Tora Manush Ho (1973), ''Alo Tumi Aleya'' and ''Yea Kore Biye''. She was one of the playback singers of the film Simana Periye (1977), composed by Bhupen Hazarika. Sultana can render songs in 32 languages. Shahnaz Rahmatullah (; 2 January 1952 – 23 March 2019) was a Bangladeshi singer. Her notable songs are ''Ekbar Jete De Na Amar Chotto Sonar Gaye'', ''Je Chilo Drishtir Shimanay'' and ''Ek Tara Tui Desher Kotha''. She was the recipient of the Ekushey Padak in 1992 and Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the film ''Chhutir Phande'' (1990).
