Aaina (1977 Film)
''Aaina'' () is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by K. Balachander. A remake of the Tamil film '' Arangetram'' (1973), it stars Mumtaz in the lead role and A. K. Hangal, Nirupa Roy, Lalita Pawar, Jayasudha and Madan Puri in supporting roles. This film has a special appearance by Rajesh Khanna. The film is about a Brahmin girl becoming a sex worker to support her mother and siblings. After this film, Mumtaz did not feature in any films for thirteen years, until she made a comeback with '' Aandhiyan'' (1990). Inder Raj Anand
Inder Raj Anand (died 6 March 1987) was an Indian film dialogue and screenwriter in Hindi cinema, who worked on many Raj Kapoor films, starting with ''Aag (1948 film), Aag'' (1948), ''Aah (film), Aah'' (1953), ''Anari (1959 film), Anari'' (1959) and ''Sangam (1964 Hindi film), Sangam'' (1963). While formally referred to as a writer for Hindi films, he was actually an Urdu literature, Urdu writer, writing his scripts and dialogues in Urdu. He was father to actor-director Tinnu Anand and producer Bittu Anand. Inder's grandson is noted film director Siddharth Anand (''Salaam Namaste'' (2005) and ''Anjaana Anjaani'' (2010)). Yasmin, also spelled as Yasmeen, is a Pakistani actress known for her work in Pakistani cinema. Her career spanned over two decades during which she appeared as a leading lady as well as supporting roles in the films of Golden Age of Pakistani cinema. She retired from acting after her marriage with Shaukat Hussain Rizvi. Personal life Yasmin was born as Zarina in Bombay, British India in 1935. She was educated there.
