A Toast of Love (吃吃面包谈谈情) is a Singaporean Chinese sitcom which aired in October 2003. It is a spin-off of the popular drama series ''Viva Le Famille''. It was aired every Saturday at 9pm. There is no theme song used in the opening sequence. Richard Low
Richard Low (; born 19 June 1952), also known as Liu Qianyi, is a Singaporean actor. He is best known for acting in many Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8 and its predecessors. He also acted in some of Jack Neo's films. Career Low was a theatre actor before joining the SBC's drama training class in the 1980s and switching to television. He used to be typecast as villains or unruly gangster-like characters. Hong Huifang
Hong Huifang (born Ang Hwee Fong on 7 January 1961) is a Singaporean actress. Career Hong joined the SBC during the mid-1980s after completing the 5th drama training course alongside Yang Libing and Chen Tianwen, at age 22. She is perhaps best known by her generation for starring in ''Samsui Women'' and her role as Wang Jinfeng in ''The Price of Peace'', for which she won her first acting award. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. Viva Le Famille
Vive La Famille () is a Mediacorp TV Channel 8 Singapore Chinese drama serial that revolves around a big family that faces many problems which other Singaporean families may also face, such as expenses on giving birth to a child, staying with their in-laws, etc. There are 2 parts of the show and were aired in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Edmund Chen () (born 4 February 1961) is a Singaporean former actor and artist. He began his career in 1987 and rose to become one of Singapore's most prominent and popular actors during the 1990s and early 2000s.
