A Song To Remember (TV Series)
''A Song to Remember'' (simplified Chinese: 星洲之夜) is a MediaCorp Channel 8 historical-cum-musical drama which is set in the 1930s to 1940s in early Singapore before World War II. It debuted on Channel 8 on 22 November 2011 and was telecast every weekday night at 9.00 pm. It stars Qi Yuwu , Joanne Peh , Eelyn Kok , Julie Tan , Desmond Tan , Chen Hanwei & Pan Lingling as the casts of the series. It is a year end blockbuster for 2011. The Series is repeated at 5.30pm on Channel 8 on weekdays and 4.30pm on weekends. This drama stars Qi Yuwu and Joanne Peh who had paired up thrice after ''The Little Nyonya'' and ''C.L.I.F.'', and Eelyn Kok, Julie Tan and Desmond Tan. Chen Hanwei plays a villain in this drama while Eelyn Kok is also another antagonist. Viewers can catch episodes on xinmsn catchup from 23 November 2011. Priscelia Chan
Priscelia Chan Shih Mei, also known as Zeng Shimei, is a Singaporean television actress and host. Career Chan was a tax auditor before taking part in Star Search Singapore 1999. Despite being eliminated in the semifinals, she was offered a contract by TCS (later MediaCorp). She was initially cast in supporting roles in several Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8, and made her debut as a lead actress in ''In Pursuit of Peace'' (2001) and ''Heartlanders III'' (2003). Kampong Ties is a Malaysian-Singaporean television drama series (co-production). It is also the third production by MediaCorp Studios Malaysia Sdn Bhd. It was telecast from every Monday to Thursday, at 10:00pm on Malaysia's ntv7, starting 27 September and ended on 16 November 2011. Star Awards 2012 (Chinese: 红星大奖 2012) was a double television award ceremony held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channel 8 and MediaCorp Channel U. ''Star Awards 2012'' was live broadcast on Channel 8, on 22 and 29 April 2012, and the Post-Show party on Channel U after the broadcast of the second award ceremony. Kimberly Chia () is a Singaporean actress. Early life and education Kimberly Chia graduated from Compassvale Secondary School in 2011. Cynthia Koh (born 25 March 1974), also known as Xu Mei Zhen 许美珍, is a Singaporean actress. She is best known for acting in many television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8. Wang Yuqing
Tan Chooi Leong or better known as Wang Yuqing (, born 9 September 1961) is a Singaporean actor. Education Wang studied at Willow Avenue Secondary School. Career Prior to his acting career, Wang served out his NS days in the Aerodrome fire service. He was offered a contract by the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) after completing the 3rd drama training course in 1982. Wang first acted in SBC's Army series before starring in SBC's earliest idol drama, ''The Flying Fish'', in 1983, which catapulted him to stardom.
