He directed 88 films in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Life Ceder was born on February 2, 1897 in Marinette, Wisconsin to Eugene Martin Ceder (1865–1924) and Petrea Christina (Jensen) Ceder (1869–1946), immigrants from Sweden and Denmark. He married several times: to Molly Moore or Horowitz in 1918, to Elizabeth Mceacharn in 1926, and to Jacquetta Calvin in 1931. He died on November 29, 1951 at Rose Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Ceder started making films in 1917, and he worked with Universal Studios and Paramount Pictures. Edgar Mason Borden (May 1, 1888 – June 30, 1955) was an American film actor who started his career in vaudeville as an acrobat and then successfully turned to comedy. Throughout the 1920s, he toured in the Keith, Orpheum and Pantages vaudeville circuits, often billed as "the high hat comedian" and the "fun king." Borden appeared in nearly 160 films between 1922 and 1952 and was mostly seen in comedic bit parts. Borden appeared in numerous films with Laurel and Hardy. Michael Joseph Donlin (May 30, 1878 – September 24, 1933) was an American Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder and actor. As a professional baseball player, his MLB career spanned from 1899 to 1914 in which he played mainly in the National League for seven teams over 12 seasons. His most notable time was with the New York Giants, where he starred in the outfield for John McGraw's 1904 pennant winners and 1905 World Series champions. One of the finest hitters of the dead-ball era, his .333 career batting average ranks 28th all time and he finished in the top three in batting five times.
